Processed as oolong tea and fermented as black tea,
charcoal roasted black Oolong is roasted by experienced roasters in the traditional way.
Roasted over a slow fire and stirred every 30 minutes to an hour for dozens of hours,
charcoal roasted black Oolong has a distinct chocolate and caramel charcoal flavour to it.
The tea itself is deep amber red and sweet with a ripe fruit taste but at the same time
retains the sweet aftertaste unique to Oolong, subtle and mild and a rich aftertaste.
Stored properly charcoal roasted Black Oolong can be a treasured family heirloom.

Longan charcoal
严选龙眼木荫干后锯成段,进窑内采高温800度以上焖烧
接着进行封窑,窑内无多余氧气助燃,使其熄火、冷却,进而炭化
Carefully selected Longan wood is burnt at 800 °C or above inside a klin and is sealed in it.
Without oxygen, the fire stops and the burnt Longan wood cools down and carbonises.
为何使用龙眼木炭来烘焙?
主要能提供远红外线渗透型热源,促使茶叶里的咖啡因、茶碱、单宁酸等结构裂解,进而降低咖啡因成分
Why Longan charcoal?
Longan charcoal provides far Infrared heat and breaks down caffein,
theophylline and tea tannins inside tea leaves, lowering the amount of caffein in tea.
龙眼木焙老茶流程:
1.捣碎龙眼木炭
2.铲木炭入炉内
3.将炉内木炭打扎实
4.引火(让木炭平均受热)
5.烧红的木炭盖上一层灰(用过的龙眼炭灰)
6.整灰(灰的厚度及密度影响氧气进入炉火的速率,造成热度的不同)
7.文火烘焙(每30分钟至1小时翻动一次),10小时以上
Longan Charcoal Roasting:
1.Crushing longan charcoal
2.Spreading the crushed Longan charcoal in the furnace evenly for even heat distribution
3.Beating it repatedly
4.Starting a fire
5.Spreading a layer of Longan charocal ash on top of the red charcoal.
6.Arranging the ash based on the need (The ash layer thickness and density heavily impact the amount of the oxygen in the furance and the heat insentity.)
7.Roasting tea leaves over a slow fire and stir the leaves every 30 minutes to 1 hour for more than 10 hours.
