An ancient saying describes its signature color as:
"Sky clears after rain, a break in the clouds reveals the blue."
The glaze is warm and gentle in tone—elegant and deeply captivating.
With a legacy spanning over a thousand years, Ru ware holds a mysterious and rare place in the history of Chinese ceramics.
👨🏫 This piece was created by Taiwanese ceramic artist Lo Wen-Chi, who has over 27 years of experience in pottery.
By reinterpreting traditional Ru glaze with a contemporary aesthetic, he explores the dialogue between glaze and form, crafting one-of-a-kind works that bridge ancient tradition and modern expression.
